Brok Mende is an insanely talented audio engineer who kindly asked me to document him setting up and recording a small studio session with musician, Reno Cruz. The idea was to capture him in his element  of his recording process in a very raw way and to snap a few portraits in between. I chose to limit myself to one lens in low light with no external flashes to emulate a simple and gritty, down-to-earth approach and to capture his positive, comical, and genuine personality.
